Agenda: Discussing the Falkland Island's Territorial Dispute

Welcome to the SPECPOL, wherein the role of the commitee and the representatives of the global forum is to examine and make recommendations on these issues, aiming to promote international peace and cooperation, resolve conflicts, and advance the process of decolonization. We will seek to provide a forum for member states to discuss and collaborate on matters related to political stability and security, contributing to the overall goals of the United Nations in maintaining world peace and security.

The Agenda for this committee will be discussions surrounding the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands. The dispute remains a sensitive and complex geopolitical issue, with both countries continuing to assert their claims to the territory. It also has implications for regional security, resource exploration, and the broader context of territorial disputes and self-determination in international relations.
