Agenda: Bosnian War

“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.”

- G.K. Chesterton

The Bosnian War, which raged from 1992 to 1995, was a crucible of ethnic and political strife within Bosnia and Herzegovina. It emerged from the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia, entangled in a complex web of historical grievances and power struggles. Our faction, the Bosnian Serb Cabinet, sought to establish a separate Serb entity, driven by a conviction in the right to self-determination.The conflict witnessed widespread displacement, atrocious acts of violence, and a tragic loss of life. Our forces, aligned with the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), engaged in territorial disputes with other factions, creating an indelible mark on the region's history. The Bosnian Serb entity, Republika Srpska, emerged as a significant player in this tumultuous landscape. Ultimately, the Dayton Agreement of 1995 brought an end to the war, formalizing the political structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Republika Srpska coexisting alongside the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The delegates are given the opportunity to rewrite history and reevaluate the actions of the Bosnian serb.
