“When you learn a language, you don’t just learn to speak and write a new language. You also learn to be open-minded, liberal, tolerant, kind and considerate towards all mankind.” – Mouloud Benzadi

In a country with 22 scheduled languages and the vibrant cultures shaped by its heritage, Language has become a focal point of socio-political discourse in India with many states revolting over the imposition of certain language across the diverse territories that shape the access to resources, opportunities and identities of individuals and communities. In parallel, the constitutional mandate of reassessing constituency boundaries and seat distributions through delimitation and surveys raises questions on population dynamics and political equality despite the objective of fair representation.

Welcome to the All India Political Parties Meet(AIPPM) where you will be representing various personalities from India’s diverse political parties where an insightful and interactive debate awaits for you as we deliberate on the question of language and electoral structuring, exploring its potential impact on India’s pluralistic society and governance.
